REGGIE LAMBE

Karlan Aherne-Grant's two goals in the second-half to earn Crawley a share of the spoils after coming from 2-0 down at Reggie Lambe and his Carlisle United teammates.

Richie Bennett and Hallam Hope scored either side of the break to put the hosts 2-0 up, but Carlisle United’s play-off ambitions were dealt a blow as Crawley staged a battling comeback.

DJAIR PARFITT-WILLIAMS

Djair Parfitt-Williams and his NK Rudar Velenje teammates earned a hard fought 2 – 1 win over Celje.

NK Rudar Velenje went in front in the 18th minute with a goal from Milan Tucic, but the match was level at 1 – 1 in the 42nd minute when Dario Vizinger scored.

NK Rudar Velenje would get the winner in the 58th minute when Jaka Bijol scored.

WILLIE CLEMONS

After 8 straight wins Willie Clemons and his Bodens BK teammates recorded their first loss of the year 4 – 2 to Piteå, but they are still in preseason action.

Piteå started the game strong, with Boden suffering an injury after just 15 seconds, when a head injury (feared concussion) on Andreas Wärja forced him out of the match. Piteå held a 1-0 lead at the break. The first half also ended with Erik Stenberg being forced to break even with freaked concussion.

Second half saw Piteå build a 4-0 lead, before Bodens BK scored twice to reduce the score to 4 – 2. Bodens BK got a goal each from Max Wårell and Elias Öhman.

JONTE SMITH

Two goals from Jonte Smith helped Lewes to a 3-2 win over Ramsgate at the Pan, and saw them move six points clear at the top of the Bostik South table.

Lewes started brightly and took the lead after just four minutes, as a Leon Redwood cross from the left was volleyed past Luke Watkins and into the bottom corner by Bouwe Bosma getting off to the best possible start.

Lewes doubled their lead just four minutes later through Smith, who latched onto a long ball forward from Frankie Chappell and lifted the ball over the onrushing Watkins and into the back of the net.

Lewes were arguably playing some of their best football of the season at this stage, Lewes nearly made the most of this during a strong end to the half, as Smith saw a deflected effort hit the post at the end of an excellent passing move.

Lewes made the most of this by scoring a third goal after 71 minutes through Smith, who finished from close range after Watkins was forced into a fine save to prevent Liam Dickson scoring an own-goal when a Ronnie Conlon cross hit him in front of goal.
