The Phoenix Wushu Nationals which is the largest Chinese Martial Arts Tournament in the US concluded with Bermuda athletes competing in San da competition.
Bermuda Division winners being uncontested in actual Divisions included, Geraldine Sidders, Tristan Robinson, Jonathan Trott, Muryah Swan, and Enzi Johnston.
Kaelin Cox finished the tournament with 3 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals.
In early action, Geraldine Sidders went down 2 rounds to 0 to Samantha Knight, Krista Dyer defeated Mengyao Li 2 rounds to 0, while Kallan Todd defeated Francisco Lazcano 2 rounds to 0.
Tristan Robinson had a draw against Kainoa Torbert, Quennel Robinson defeated Alejandro Luera by KO, Muryah Swan went down by TKO by to Alexis Garcia, while Robinson went down 2 rounds to 0 to Athena Cheng.
Swan defeated Knight 2 rounds to 1, Jonathan Trott defeated Derek Wheeler 2 rounds to 1, and Enzi Johnston went down by TKO to Alexis Garcia.
