Bermuda Fall to Guinea in Second FIFA Series Match

Bermuda took on Guinea in their second International Friendly FIFA Series match at King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Guinea starting Line-Up: - Mohamed Camara, Ibrahima Sory Conté, Yasser Balde, Mohamed Bangoura, Morlaye Sylla, Mamadou Kané, Moussa Balla Conté, Cheick Oumar Conde, Kandet Diawara (Mohamed Soumah 56th), Ousmane Camara, Thierno Barry - Substitutes: - Ousmane Camara, Moussa Camara, , Mohamed Camara, Mohamed Boké Camara, Ousmane Drame, Alassane Bangoura, Moussa Moise Camara, Jules Keita, Sékou Oumar Yansané, Mohamed Lala Keita, Bermuda Starting Line-Up: - Dale Eve, Lejuan Simmons (J’Nai Butterfield-Steede 41st), Dante Leverock, Roger Lee, Harry Twite, Kane Crichlow, Kole Hall (Sachiel Ming, 77th), Luke Robinson, Aunde Todd (Knory Scott, 77th), Djair Parfitt-Williams (Remy Coddington, 77th), Zeiko Lewis (Jai Bean 70th) - Substitutes: - Detre Bell, Andrew Kempe, Reece Jones, Daion Swan-Desilva, Ne-Jai Tucker, Keziah Martin, Riley Robinson

Morlaye Sylla gave Guinea the lead in the 11th minute with a right-footed volley that beat Dale Eve to his right, but four minutes later it was 1 – 1 when Dante Leverock scored from a corner, the ball bad it way to the back post where Leverock controlled and side-footed the ball into the back of the net. Leverock was sent off in stoppage time, following a corner, Leverock retaliated by kicking out at a Guinea player, and the referee showed a straight red card.

Bermuda made a change at the break with Andrew Kempe replacing Dale Eve in goal, in the 48th minute Guinea would go ahead 2 – 1, when Sylla scored his second goal of the game, and then five minutes later it was 3 – 1 when Kandet Diawara got on the end of a cross and placed his shot past Kempe. In the 61st minute substitute Jules Keita made it 4 – 1 to Guinea, as Bermuda struggled with 10 men. In the 70th minute Guinea would go ahead 5 – 1, when Mamadou Kané scored from a free kick.
