Bermuda-Canada Friendly Match Round Up

Bermuda went down to Canada 4 - 2 in their International Friendly at the National Sports Center.

Bermuda Starting Line-up: Jahquil Hill, Roger Lee, Jalen Harvey, Dante Leverock, Zeiko White, William White, Killian Elkinson, Reggie Lambe, Osagi Bascome, Willie Clemons, Lejuan Simmons - Substitutes: Ajai Daniels, Shayne Hollis, Azende Furbert, Oneko Lowe, Rai Sampson, Zenawi Bowen, Mikiel Thomas, Jahkari Furbert, Keishon Bean - Canada Starting Line-up: Callum Irving, Nana Attakora, Dejan Jakovic, Will Johnson, Anthony Jackson-Hamel, Jonathan Osorio, Tosaint Ricketts, Ben McKendry, Ben Fisk, Adam Straith, Marcel de Jong - Substitutes: Sean Melvin, Wandrille Lefevre, Marco Bustos, Kyle Bekker, Maxim Tissot, Jay Chapman

Bermuda took the lead in the 12th minute when some slack Canadian marking on a corner kick allowed Bermuda to make a second cross in with Jalen Harvey scoring from close range.

Canada woke up and got the equalizer in the 21st minute when Ben Fisk crossed in from the left side, the cross found Anthony Jackson-Hamel, whose initial shot was saved by Bermuda goalkeeper Jahquil Hill, with the rebound put away by Jonathan Osorio from close range.

Two minutes later, Canada was in front when Osorio found Tosaint Ricketts running to the right side who got off a low hard shot that found the back of the net.

The game got interesting in the 55th minute when Bermuda was level, Lejuan Simmons scored for Bermuda after a shocking goalkeeper error, in the process the Canada substitute goalkeeper was injured and after having only two goalkeepers on the roster, they had to turn to veteran defender Adam Straith to step in.

Jay Chapman scored in the 75th minute to put Canada back in front and then Anthony Jackson-Hamel scored in the 85th minute to earn Canada the win.
