Dequan Crockwell and his Port Vale Reserve teammates tasted League defeat for the first time this season at Morecambe, who had not won a game playing their reserve side.

Warwick Academy defeated Mount Saint Agnes Academy 9-6 in the Boys A Division Final. Warwick Academy were led by Nayan Grant who scored six times, Vincent Boisvert added two and Ditrich Simmons one, while Daylen Scott and Ethan Thompson score

As we reported daily sixteen Warwick Academy swimmers including Amelie Argent, Brian Desmond, Jack Harvey, Tayla Horan, Caleb Ingham, Finn Moseley, Gabriela Pitman, Skyler Powell, Ambya Smith, Lewis Sweeney, Talia Thompson, Jesse Washington, Logan Watson-Brown, Taylor White, Sam Williamson and Keagan Woolley all competed in the 2018 Eastern Interscholastic Swimming & Diving Championships.

In Second Spring Senior Bowling League action at the Warwick Lanes saw the Pinsplitters defeat the Blue Angels 4 – 0, while the Drifters defeated the Last Pin by the same score, the New Comers went down 3 – 1 to Old ‘N Kickin and the Last Minutes fell 3 – 1 to the Islanders.

Yet another Bermuda Basketball Association’s Winter League sponsored by ONE double header took place inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium saw 276 points scored.

Game One saw the Devonshire Chargers defeat the Paget Flyboys 85 – 72. Kevin Stephens led the Devonshire Chargers to victory with 29 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assist, while Akil Smith scored a game high 37 points for the Paget F

Williams Competes In MAPL Championships  (TRACK AND FIELD)

Mikale Williams represented the Mercersburg Academy Boys' Indoor Track & Field at the MAPL Indoor Track Championships.

Mercersburg Academy competed against Blair Academy, Hill, The Lawrenceville and The Peddie.

Williams won the Men’s varsity Long Jump with a top leap of 21-01.50 or 6.40m.

Williams would then win the Mens’ Varsity Triple Jump leaping 43-04.00 or 13.10m.

Zendai Ingham-Fubler who is currently training at Sobmx South of the Border Motocros Academy competed in the Florence Amateur Arenacross.

Ingham-Fubler took part in the Open C Class where he finished 3rd in the Heat and 8th in the Main Race.

Also competing was Jyire Mitchell who took to the track in the 250AX Class finishing 10th overall. Mitchell would clock the 17th fastest Qualif

Tyler Smith was on the sidelines and her Jackson State University Women’s Tennis teammates defeated Auburn Montgomery Women's Tennis 4 – 3 in a non-conference match on the campus of Jackson State University.

The match was originally scheduled for Friday, February 9th, but was moved due to inclement weather, AUM falls to 1-1 on the season while JSU improves to 1-5.
