Dill & Minors Compete in Championships Final  (INTERNATIONAL GAMES)

Shaquille Dill and Dage Minors took to the Track for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships Menís 800m Finals.

Dill clocked a time of 1:50.86 to finish 5th, while Minors finished eighth with a time of 1:52.48.

Paralympian Jessica Lewis began competing in Switzerland.

Lewis took to the Track for the Daniela Jutzeler Memorial 2017 Arbon Track Meet.

Taking to the Track for the T53 Womenís 100m Lewis crossed the line second stopping the clock in a time of 17.05, she finished behind Samantha Kinghorn from Great Britain who stopped the clock in a time of 16.21, while Ilana Dupont from Canada fin

Finally the 35th Americaís Cup is underway on the waters of the Great Sound. One day after Mother Nature had her say, 36 sailors who are put in a position to afford the boats and everything along with it hit the water.

Kamau Leverock, Onias Bascome and their Handsworth Cricket Club teammates went down by 2 wickets in their Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League Twenty20 Challenge Cup Round 2 match against Dorridge Cricket Club.

The match was effected by rain with Handsworth batting first and scored 185/5 in their allotted 20 overs.

Adam Hall and his Canadian Junior National Team teammates carried a four-run lead into the bottom of the ninth before the Blue Jays struck for four runs on five extra base hits and a sac fly as the game ended in a 6-6 tie.

Hall continued his form with a 3-for-3 performance including a double in the ninth that got to the wall in left-centre.

Kyle Webb took to the Track to compete for Purdue Menís Track and Field during the NCAA Division 1 East Preliminary Round Championships.

Webb was a member of the Purdue Menís 4x100m Relay team that was Disqualified during Heat Two.

Shaquille Dill and Dage Minors have advanced to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships Menís 800m Finals.

Running in Heat One, Dill clocked a winning time of 1:50.66, Minors also competing in Heat One finished second with a time of 1:50.78.

Heading into the final Dill recorded the third fastest time, while Minors finished with the fifth fastest time.

Hall Leads Canada to Victory  (BASEBALL)

Adam Hall and Edouard Julien combined to steal seven bases and score five runs as the Junior National Team earned a 7-2 win over the Dominican Summer League Seattle Mariners.

Hall was a menace on the basepaths swiping four bases and scoring on a wild pitch in the eighth. His third steal of the game forced a bad throw from the Mariners catcher that allowed Hall to slide safely into third.

Jaylynn Hines received the email she was hoping to get and that was to confirm that she has been named to the Canadian National Netball Team.

Hines and her teammates will be travelling to Cayman Islands July 2nd - 9th for a Netball Test Series.
