The IQUW Bermuda Open Professional Squash Association 2024 Tournament got underway at the Bermuda Squash racquets Association Club in Devonshire.
Four Bermuda players Micah Franklin, Taylor Carrick, Noah Browne, and Anaya Smith would take to the court on the opening day, with one picking up the win.
Franklin faced off against Carrick in his opening match and he would advance winning 3 – 0 in a 32-minute battle 11-5, 11-9, 11-5.
Brown would fall to Laszio Godde from France 3 – 1 in their 31-minute match 11-1, 7-11, 11-5, 11-5, and Smith went down 3 – 0 to Colombian Nicolas Serna 11-5, 11-6, 11-2 in 22 minutes.
