Matthew Elliott concluded competing in the Midlands Shield Squash Championships, representing Loughborough University, at the University of Warwick Squash Center.
Elliott and his were crowned the Midlands Shield Squash Champions after going undefeated.
In their Quarter-Final match Loughborough defeated Keele 5 – 0, Elliott won his match 11-7, 11-6.
The Semi-Final battle saw Loughborough defeat the Loughborough Second’s team 5 – 0, Elliott won his match 11-7, 11-8.
In the Final Loughborough edged Birmingham 3 – 2, Elliott did not drop a game in the tournament winning the deciding match 11-7, 12-10.
