Oliver Betschart, Lewis MacFarlane, William Leman, and Lorcan McGlynn all claimed their Division Titles in the Fecchio Junior Cup at the Turtle Hill Golf Course.
Betschart braved challenging windy conditions to win the Fecchio Junior Cup Blue Division, adding to his recent Moongate Tour Championship title.
The young golfer showed impressive resilience over the two-day tournament, carding a total of 117 in the Blue Division to secure the victory. Matthew Roberts claimed the Silver Medal with a score of 128, while Johnny Bart completed the podium with 130.
The White Division saw a thrilling battle for second place. Lewis MacFarlane dominated the field, firing an impressive 6-over par 60 in the second round to finish with a total of 120. A tie-breaker was needed to separate Darina Betschart and Cole Graham, with Betschart ultimately claiming the Silver Medal and Graham settling for Bronze. Both players finished with a two-round total of 135.
In the Red Division, William Leman held his nerve to secure victory with a total of 78 points under the Stableford format. Freddie Jones finished in second place with 68 points, followed by Joshua Cann in third with 51 points.
The Gold Division, played over 9 holes each day using the Stableford format, saw Lorcan McGlynn produce a stunning comeback. McGlynn overcame a deficit to overnight leader Arthur Cooper to win by a single point. Poppy Parry secured the bronze medal with 44 points.
The Fecchio Junior Cup showcased the promising future of Bermudian golf, with these young players demonstrating skill and determination in testing conditions.
