Up for grabs was three spots into the Butterfield Bermuda PGA Championships, Sims shot a second round 2-over par to finish at 4-over par for the tournament.
Also advancing to the championship was Nicholas Jones, and Jarryd Dillas who both finished at 6-over par, Jones shot a second round even par 71, while Dillas shot four over par.
Christian Collins defeated Oliver Betschart in a play-off to be recognized as the first alternate for the championship, with both advancing to the APGA Tour event next week after both finished at 7-over par. Collins shot a second round 5-over par 76, while Betschart shot a 3-over par 74.
Camiko Smith shot a second round 4-over par 75 to finish at 8-over par to finish 6th also advancing to the APGA Tour event, and closing out the Bermuda Field for the APGA Tour event was Damian Palanyandi who finished 7th overall with a score of 10-over par, Palanyandi shot a 5-over par 76 in his second round.
