There have been changes to the Americas Rankings following international competition. The updated Americas Rankings – June 12th sees Bermuda gaining rankings points at the expense of the Bahamas.
Bermuda moved up to 14th place with 39.74 points, they sit behind 13th place Venezuela who have 39.77 points and Cayman Islands who have 42.87 points and are in 12th place.
Argentina’s 30-24 win over Italy had no impact on the top of the Americas Ranking. This is the case due to Argentina entering the fixture with a much superior ranking to that of the Central Europeans.
The Americas Rankings will be updated again next Sunday. They will account for the new rankings of not only Uruguay but ten others. Argentina, Brazil, Canada and the USA will all have home internationals with the visitors being France, Kenya, Russia and Italy respectively.
In the Caribbean Rugby World Cup Qualification matches will resume on June 18th. The three matches that day will all have rankings on the line. Jamaica will host Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago will take-on Guyana and the Cayman Islands will face Bermuda.
