The Bermuda Rugby Football Union (BRFU) has a new President Gemma Godfrey.
BRFU held their Annual General Meeting, with former President Sean Field-Lament decided not to run, with Godfrey elected to the post.
Field-Lament said to www.islandstats.com, “I think it’s extremely good for rugby, it's a historic moment first female President of Bermuda Rugby, and I am very proud of her and wish her and the BRFU all the best.”
Field-Lament had 38 years in Bermuda Rugby, he spent 8 years on BOA Executive and 7 years on ANSGB Executive giving a lot of his time to Bermuda sports.
Field-Lament concluded, “All in all though I had a fantastic time with some truly remarkable people.”
