Kevin Hall recorded his second solid performance on Day Two of the APGA Tour Championship at the Chester Washington Golf Club in Los Angeles.
During the First Round Hall set the course record with a Round of 61, and then he Birdied the last hole on Day Two to win event by one stroke over Lyons Landon.
Bermuda’s Daniel Augustus shot a Second Round 72 to finish T25th at 3-over par.
Augustus said, “Congratulations Kevin Hall in winning this week and winning the points system overall for the APGA Tour. You played absolutely great golf.”
“I pray you do well in Q-School,” continued Augustus.
Augustus went on to say, “As for me, well I made 0 Putts outside 2 feet and I hit every Putt where and how I wanted to. No exaggeration!!! It was my first time on POA greens so I just have to stay positive.”
“Next is the Rhode Island, my game feels great! What else can I say,” concluded Augustus.
