The Fecchio Cup will tee off on Tuesday morning at the Turtle Hill Golf Course in Southampton after an absence of 5 years.
The event was started some 30 years ago and many of Bermuda’s top amateurs today came through this tournament.
Thirty-four junior golfers between the ages of 8 to 18 will compete in various divisions over 36 and 18 holes respectively during the two-day tournament.
The 14-18-year-old group will compete in the Blue Division (Championship) with some of Bermuda’s most promising junior golfers.
The likes of Dylan Muso, Matthew Roberts, Arman Newton, and Sa-Qui Robinson will be vying for the Championship title.
The 11 – 13-year-old group will play in the White Division with promising youngsters such as Lewis MacFarlane, Louchlan Soutter, Charlie Smith, and Fletcher Logie all looking to stamp their authority over the 36 holes.
The remaining two divisions are made up of beginning golfers who will play 18 holes over the two days using the Stableford scoring system from the Pink and Gold tee boxes respectively.
