Daniel Phillips was back in action competing in the J500 Merida XXXVI Copa Mundial Yucatan in Mexico.
Phillips would take to the Clay Court for his first-round Doubles match alongside Santiago Padilla Cote from Mexico, the pair would take on the number 3 seeds Roy Horovitz, and Alexander Razeghi from the United States of America.
Phillips and Cote went down in straight sets 6-3, 7-5.
