Shelby Madeiros’ Siena Women's Tennis teammates went the distance in five singles matches and ultimately lost a heartbreaker to St. Bonaventure 5-2 at the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center on Friday.
Madeiros took to the court for the Doubles alongside Zaara Omar, they would fall 7 – 5 to Kashish Bote and Kelly Barnes.
Emma Boggiali and Maddie De Faber-Schumacher each outlasted their opponent at the singles No. 3 and No. 6 positions, respectively, but Siena lost three other three-set tie-breakers and dropped the other singles match on a default for medical purposes.
