Daniel Phillips and his No. 17th ranked Arizona State Men's Tennis teammates opened their home Pac-12 Conference play against No. 33 Stanford.
Arizona State lost their first conference match of the season, 4-0, to No. 33 Stanford. Stanford has now taken seven of their last eight matches against ASU dating back to 2018 when their Men's program was reinstated.
This was just the second time Arizona State has been defeated at Whiteman Tennis Center this season.
Phillips played in the Doubles, he teamed up with Nicola Cigna, they would fall 7-5 to Neel Rajesh, and Kyle Kang.
