The Bermuda ITF Junior Open Tennis Tournament Girls Under 18 Final took place at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.
The Final featured the number 2 seed Annali Olivelle from Great Britain against the number 4 seed Marcella Cruz from USA.
Olivelle dominated the early part of the first set and took a 5 – 0 lead, but Cruz dug deep and ran off seven straight wins to claim the first set 7 – 5.
Cruz remained in control during the second set to become the Bermuda Open ITF Junior Tennis Under 18 Girls Champion.
Rain has halted play delaying the Under 18 Girls Doubles Final and the Under 18 Boy’s Semi-Finals.
