The first Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Championship of the 2017-18 season began, as Pepperdine University and Malibu Racquet Club serve as hosts of the 2017 Oracle ITA Masters.
Jackson State University’s Tyler Smith took to the court to compete in the Ladies Singles First Round.
Smith who is ranked 30th Nationally took on the number 3 seed Samantha Harris from Duke University.
