Rollins College Men’s Tennis player Billy Boyle was crowned the Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s men’s Double Elimination Champion.
Two day’s after falling in straight sets to number one seed David Thomas the pair had to battle it out to determine a champion having both tasted defeat.
Boyle jumped out to an early lead in the First Set and was able to hang on for a 7-5 win.
The Second Set saw Thomas come back with a vengeance and recorded a 6-0 win to send it to a third set tiebreaker.
The Third and Final Set was a seesaw affair, but it was Boyle who was determined to come away with the win and held on for a 6-4 victory and the title.
