Due to heavy rain the Annual International Tennis Federation (ITF) & COTECC (Central American and Caribbean Tennis Confederation) Bermuda International Junior Tennis Tournament got underway late at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.
In early action Enzo Brida from Brazil defeated Tristan Taylor in straight sets in the Boy’s Singles match 6-3, 7-5, Chile’s Diego Fernandez Flores defeated Ross martin from Great Britain in the same Division in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
Another Boy’s Singles match up to get the day started saw Alfredo Casso from USA defeat Mikkel Baumann from Norway 6-2, 6-1 and Eliot Spizzirri from USA defeated Lancelot Carnello from Sweden in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
Bermuda’s Tanner Boyle took to the court and fell in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 to Daniel Nuzhny from the United States of America.
