Smart & Knade Seize Second-Round Goslings Open Lead

There has been a change at the summit of the Goslings Bermuda Open, with Henry Smart and Peter Knade navigating the brisk breeze at the Port Royal Golf Course to become the new joint leaders after the second round.
Both players are now tied at 5-under par overall.
Henry Smart fired the round of the day, carding a superb 4-under par 67. His scorecard included an impressive Eagle, four Birdies, 11 Pars, and just two Bogey’s, catapulting him up the leaderboard from his overnight position. Peter Knade was equally consistent, shooting a 3-under par 68 which featured five Birdies, ten Pars, and three Bogey’s.
Tyler Hull moved into solo third place at 4-under par after posting his second consecutive 2-under par 69.
Overnight leader Kenneth Leseur, one of the three local players qualified for next month’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship, fell into a tie for fourth place at 2-under par, where he is joined by Jay Card.
Fellow Butterfield qualifier Michael Sims is tied for sixth at 1-under par. Meanwhile, Bermuda’s final PGA Tour competitor, amateur Oliver Betschart, is tied for 11th on 5-over par heading into the final round.
