Harness racing driver Kiwon Waldron enjoyed a highly successful day at the Jay County Fairgrounds in Portland, Indiana, steering two horses to victory and securing two other top-five finishes.
Waldron's first win came in RACE 12, a 3-Year-Old Filly Pace Class. In the bike of Starlitwhatamemory, he expertly guided the filly to a winning time of 1:59.3. He then followed that up with another victory in RACE 17, the 3-Year-Old Colt Pace Class, where he drove Derek's Rocket to a win with a time of 2:00.0.
In a busy day of competition, Waldron also competed in two other races. In RACE 4, the 2-Year-Old Filly Pace Class, he and Ambehaving finished in 5th place with a time of 2:01.2. He then secured another strong result in RACE 5, also a 2-Year-Old Filly Pace Class, where he and Higher Than Total crossed the line in 3rd place with a time of 2:04.2.
