The National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street echoed with the sound of hooves and cheers as the Bermuda Horse & Pony Association (BHPA) hosted their annual Spring Show, delivering a day of impressive equestrian displays.
Young riders kicked off the event with the Walk-Trot Equitation Over X-Rails, where Savannah Peniston, riding Southern Surprise, took first place with a polished performance. Annie Duffin, aboard Wintermint, secured second, and Aurelia Bathgate, riding Wild Thing's Island Adventure, finished third.
The Low Equitation Over Fences 2'3" class saw Peta White and Causing Chaos deliver a commanding ride to claim victory. Bella Rodrigues, riding Let's Play, took second place, while Charlotte Arthur, aboard Storm Watch, finished third in a closely contested class.
The BHPA Mini Medal 2'3"-2'6" class showcased the riders' technical abilities, with Courtney Sims and Wintermint securing first place. Tonae Tavares, riding Kool Blu, claimed second, and Eliza Steinhoff, aboard Cruz Is Karma, finished third.
The 3'6 Hunter Over Fences class saw Michael Rodrigues and Rambo deliver a powerful performance to take the top spot. Sierra Wolffe, riding Made You Look, finished second in this high-level class.
In the 3'0 Hunter Over Fences class, Erin Wheatley and Koko Kanu produced a stylish round to claim victory. Georgia Hughes, riding Casichacco, finished second, and Simone Sainsbury, aboard Kensington, secured third place.
The BHPA Spring Show provided a platform for riders of all ages and abilities to showcase their skills, with impressive performances across all divisions. The event highlighted the dedication and talent of Bermuda's equestrian community.
