Kiwon Waldron braved the cold and faced a marathon night of racing as he wrapped up his season at Hawthorne Race Course in Chicago, Illinois, competing in nine races across both the Pace and Trot classes.
Waldron's busy night began with Race 1 in the Pace Class, where he guided Shipwrecked to a fifth-place finish in a time of 1:57 flat. He quickly returned to action in Race 2, this time driving Xena's Foxie to a fourth-place finish in 1:59&2.
The Pace Class continued to be Waldron's focus throughout the night. In Race 6, he and Firing Onall Fours finished sixth with a time of 2:00 flat. Race 7 saw Waldron and Odds On Alpha Male cross the line fourth in 1:53&2.
Waldron and Hope I'm An Icon teamed up for Race 8, finishing sixth in 1:58 flat. He then partnered with Roan By Design in Race 9, securing another fourth-place finish in 1:56 flat.
Switching to the Trot Class for Race 11, Waldron and Hope's Star earned a third-place finish in 2:01&4. Race 12 provided a thrilling finish, with Waldron and Mary's Magic declared second after a photo finish, clocking a time of 1:58&1.
Waldron concluded his busy night with Race 13 in the Pace Class, driving Revelry to a fourth-place finish in 1:56&4.
Despite the demanding schedule and chilly conditions, Waldron demonstrated his skill and dedication throughout the night, securing several top-five finishes across both classes.
