 Abby Bardgett IslandStats.com The Second Leg of the FEI Jumping World Challenge took place at the National Equestrian Center under ideal weather conditions.
Jaylynn Hines, riding Toto D’ysenbeeck Z, emerged victorious in the fiercely contested 1.20-1.30m Category A competition. Their time of 58.06 seconds, combined with 8 penalty fault points, secured them first place. Abby Bardgett, riding Causing Chaos, finished second with a time of 63.83 seconds but accrued 24 penalty fault points.
In the 1.10-1.20m Category B Division, Abby Bardgett, this time partnering Cruise Control, claimed the top spot. Their eight penalty fault points and a time of 55.28 seconds were enough for the win.
Bardgett continued her success in the 1.00-1.10m Category C Division, taking first place aboard Up, Up & Away. A clear round in 55.21 seconds sealed the victory. Kamali Tucker and Tugano Van Klapscheut finished second with a clear round in 64.27 seconds. Michael Rodrigues, riding Rambo, finished third with a time of 55.21 seconds and four penalty fault points.
Georgia Hughes, riding Casichacco, finished fourth with a time of 61.02 seconds and 15 penalty fault points. Alex McMartin, riding Hornelli, and Sierra Wolfe, riding Made You Look, were both eliminated.
