Bermuda's Kiwon Waldron is making Hawthorne Race Course his own personal playground! Just two days after notching his first victory at the Chicago track, he was back in the winner's circle with another impressive performance.
Waldron had to wait until late in the evening for his triumph, but the patience paid off. In Race 1, a Pace Class event, he guided Julerica to a respectable fifth-place finish with a time of 1:55 flat.
But it was in Race 11 that Waldron truly shined. Taking the reins of Firing Onall Fours, he delivered a masterful drive, navigating the pacer to victory with a winning time of 1:58&4.
This victory further solidifies Waldron's growing reputation as a rising star on the harness racing scene. His aggressive driving style and ability to connect with his horses have clearly made an impact.
