Bermudian driver Kiwon Waldron enjoyed a successful night at Hawthorne Race Course in Chicago, securing his first win at the track.
Waldron, who recently made his debut at the Illinois venue, competed in two races on the card. His first outing saw him pilot Straight Denim in Race 3, a Pace Class event. The pair delivered a solid performance, finishing third with a time of 1:57&2.
However, it was in Race 7 that Waldron truly shone. Taking the reins of Rockin The Jackpot, he guided the pacer to victory in a time of 1:54 flat. This win marks a significant milestone for Waldron as he continues to make his mark on the US trotting circuit.
Waldron's success at Hawthorne follows a string of impressive performances at the Indiana track. He will be hoping to build on this momentum and add to his victory tally in the coming weeks.
