The Bermuda Dressage Group's annual Christmas "Festive Attire" Show was a resounding success, bringing holiday cheer and top-notch equestrian competition to the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street.
Riders donned their most creative costumes, transforming the arena into a winter wonderland of Mr. and Mrs. Claus, elves, snow angels, and even Elsa from Frozen!
The competition was fierce, but the festive spirit was even stronger. Brinkley McCormick took home the prize for best dressed in the Introductory Level, while Kelsie Carreiro and Lila Readdy claimed the honors in the Training and First Levels, respectively.
When it came to the riding, Vee McKey and Finest Hit stole the show in the Adult Class, posting a winning score of 69.405%. Julia Cunningham and Mr. Worldwide topped the Junior Class with a score of 67.813%.
The Training Test 2 Class saw Rebecca Lemon and Debutante emerge victorious with a score of 69.311%. Sierra Wolffe and Made You Look finished a close second with 66.207%, while Lila Readdy and Ladybug claimed third place with 60.69%.
In the INTRO B Class, Julia Cunningham added another win to her tally, guiding Mr. Worldwide to a score of 67.5%. Daisy Cooper and Storm Watch secured second place with 65.625%, and Harley Greenslade and Up Up & Away rounded out the top three with 64.063%.
The Bermuda Dressage Group's Christmas show proved to be a perfect blend of festive fun and competitive equestrian sport.
