The Harness Pony Racing Season continued at the National Equestrian Center, www.islandstats.com continues to bring you the coverage of the races on the day of the racing, and not using the sports as a filler.
The opening race of the season in the 1:03&1 & Faster Time Bar Class saw Candyce Martins in the bike of Double Time clocked a winning time of 1:03 flat, Maurice Raynor in the bike of Rockeyed Optimist was second with a time of 1:03&1, and Kirista Rabain in the bike of Simsfield Hardtimes finished third with a time of 1:03&2.
Race two of the day was the 1:04&3 – 1:06 Flat Time Bar Class, which saw ItsAllAboutMe with Phillip Correia in the bike clocked a winning time of 1:05&2, IC’s Overextended and Kirista Rabain finished second with a time of 1:05&4, and Shady Maple and Catrina Stephens finished third with a time of 1:06 flat.
