The race for the Bermuda Premier Division title is set for a thrilling conclusion on the final day, as the Dandy Town Hornets maintained their three-point lead at the summit following the latest round of domestic fixtures.

The Hornets currently sit on 40 points, closely pursued by the PHC Zebras on 37. With the season reaching its final stages, the Devonshire Colts remain mathematically in the hunt on 35 points, with a game in hand. North Village Rams and Devonshire Cougars round out the top five, though they find themselves adrift of the primary title contenders.

At the other end of the table, the fate of the Boulevard Blazers and Young Men’s Social Club have been determined, both have been relegated. The Blazers remain rooted to the bottom with just six points, while Social Club sit on ten.

The Golden Boot race is proving to be just as competitive as the league standings. David Jones of the Dandy Town Hornets leads the way with 16 goals, closely followed by PHC’s Enrique Russell on 14. A three-way tie for third sees Zeiko Lewis from Young Men Social Club, Donovan Thompson from X-Road’s, and Senoj Mitchell from the Devonshire Colts all locked on 13 strikes apiece.

In the First Division, the Somerset Trojans have officially secured their status as champions. Their total of 29 points has proved insurmountable for Robin Hood, who finished in second place on 25 points despite a prolific season from Keishen Bean. Bean has been the standout individual performer in the second tier, netting a remarkable 19 goals to lead the scoring charts by a distance.

Somerset Eagles have consolidated third place with 21 points, while a mid-table battle persists between Southampton Rangers, St. David’s, and Wolves. Despite Wolves’ lower league position, they boast several names on the leaderboard, with Khiari Sharrieff Hayward leading their charge on six goals.

The focus now shifts back to the Premier Division as the Hornets look to hold their nerve and secure the silverware in the final weekend of action.
