Devonshire Colts thwarted Dandy Town Hornets' bid to reach the top of the Premier Division table with a dramatic 2-1 victory at the BAA Field.
The Hornets took the lead in the 26th minute when Temiko Goater calmly converted a penalty, giving his side a 1-0 advantage at half-time.
However, Daniel Ball had other ideas. He levelled the score for the Colts in the 50th minute, and then struck again in stoppage time to snatch all three points for his team, leaving the Hornets to rue missed opportunities.
Bermuda Football Association League Updates:
The Bermuda Football Association has announced rescheduled dates for two First Division matches.
The postponed match between St. David’s and the Somerset Trojans will now be played on Sunday, February 23rd at 12:30 pm at Lord’s in St. David’s.
The First Division fixture between the Somerset Trojans and Robin Hood, originally postponed on Sunday, January 12th, has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 15th, with a 3:00 pm kick-off at the Somerset Cricket Club.
