Archer Jaydon Roberts claimed Gold at the Eastern Youth Tournament, adding to his recent record-breaking performance.
Roberts, fresh from competing at the Lancaster Classic, continued his impressive form by setting a new under-21 national record on his way to winning the Recurve Junior Male Division with a score of 580. This victory underlines his status as one of Bermuda's most promising young archers.
Three other Bermudians also competed at the prestigious youth event. Elektra Smith, also returning from the Lancaster Classic, finished in a respectable 10th place in the Recurve Junior Female Division with a score of 429.
In the Recurve Cadet Female Division, Robin Selley ended in 19th place with a score of 508. Despite finishing mid-table, Selley demonstrated her potential as a rising star in Bermudian Archery.
Braeden Fraser, competing in the Recurve Bowman Male Division, finished in 12th place with a score of 411.
Roberts' Gold Medal performance is a significant achievement for Bermudian archery, highlighting the growing strength and talent within the sport. With Roberts leading the way, the future looks bright for Bermuda on the international archery stage.
