BFA Make Cup & Schedule Changes
The Bermuda Football Association has announced the Friendship/Shield Semi-Final matches scheduled for Wednesday, February 10th will now take place on Tuesday, February 9th at Devonshire Rec. The First Division match between Robin Hood and St. George’s Colts scheduled for Tuesday, March 9th has been moved to Sunday, March 7th starting at 12:30pm at BAA Field and the Friendship/Shield Semi-final scheduled for Wednesday, March 10th will now take place on Tuesday, March 9th at BAA Field.

Bermuda Ranked 9th in CFU
Bermuda are now 9th in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), and are now ranked 135th on the FIFA World Rankings.
Jamaica are top in the CFU and 78th on the FIFA list, they are outside of the world’s top tier that certifies regional teams having their players eligible to acquire work permits for overseas contracts.
The latest FIFA Coca Cola rankings released yesterday showed Jamaica up three places from 81st in the last ratings and six places ahead of nearest Caribbean rivals Trinidad and Tobago.
Trinidad, who led the CFU rankings ahead of the Jamaicans in June and September last year, slipped two places to 84th but remain a clear CFU No. 2 ahead of third-ranked Haiti at 95th in the world.
There is no change among the top five, with Cuba (125th) at fourth and Guyana (126th) fifth in the region.
Antigua and Barbuda moved three places up the world list to 127th and displaced Barbados (128th) in the CFU’s No.6 spot.
Grenada (133rd), Bermuda and Suriname (142nd) complete the region’s top 10.
