Premier Division

Somerset Trojans 1 Hamilton Parish 3


Hamilton Parish took the lead in the 26th minute in this Premier Division match at the Somerset Cricket Club when a long ball forward from goalkeeper Nigel Burgess was missed by a Somerset Trojans defender and Jamie Smith beat the advancing Somerset Trojans goalkeeper Shaquille Bean to put the chance away.Two minutes later the scores were level, Jahi Simmons the Somerset Trojans forward beat his marker before beating Burgess at his near post.

In the 49th minute Hamilton Parish went back infront when Angelo Cannonier outpaced the defense and scored low to Beans left and in the 73rd minute Hamilton Parish substitute Chris Caisey made in 3-1 when he converted from the penalty spot after Smith was brought down in the box.

Corona League

Tuff Dogs 1 Vasco Mariners 0


In this top of the table Corona League clash at the BAA Field, saw league leaders Tuff Dogs go three points clear at the top with a game in hand with this 1 – 0 win over the Vasco Mariners. After a scoreless first half a Gary Adams pass put Lamaul Crofton through for a breakaway and he made no mistake in scoring the only goal of the game.

Fire FC 2 West End United 7

In the second game of the evening saw Junior DeSilva score five times to lead West End United to a 7 - 2 victory over Fire FC.

Logan Alexander – Baltimore Blast

Alexander and the first-place Baltimore Blast defeated the Monterrey La RaZa, 13-4, at 1st Mariner Arena. Giuliano Celenza led the Blast with three goals and two assists. The Blast returns to the 1st Mariner Arena playing field Saturday night to host the Milwaukee Wave.

After a scoreless first quarter, Machel Millwood scored the first goal of the game at 6:01 of the second quarter to give Baltimore a 2-0 lead. With Monterrey's Carlos Farias serving a two-minute penalty, Giuliano Celenza scored a power-play goal to increase the Blast lead to 4-0 but Mark Ughy scored at the buzzer to cut the lead to 4-2 at halftime.

The Blast took control in the third quarter, scoring three goals in the first four minutes. Rookie Max Ferdinand opened the scoring spree at 1:42 and Celenza followed up with his second goal of the night 17 seconds later. Denison Cabral scored a three-point power-play goal at 3:29 to extend Baltimore's lead to 11-2 before Hector Vallejo scored to make it 11-4.

Celenza scored again, to complete his first hat trick of the season, in the fifth minute of the final quarter to put the Blast on top, 13-4.
