Lambe & Ipswich Draw with Celtic

IslandStats.com
Reggie Lambe and his Ipswich Town’s reserve teammates drew 2-2 with Celtic behind-closed-doors friendly at Portman Road.

Colin Healy and trialist Devann Yao, scored the goals for Ipswich with Graham Carey (pen) and Willo Flood on target for Celtic.

Former Celtic midfielder Healy opened the scoring with a clever lob on the half hour with New Yorker Yao adding the second from a long Connor Wickham throw after the break. Carey’s penalty, then Flood’s goal on 85 saw the sides end the game level.

Town, who were watched by boss Roy Keane, also included Tommy Smith, Jack Colback, Liam Trotter, Pablo Couñago, Richard Wright, Troy Brown and Jaime Peters in their side, while the travelling Celtic party included former Ipswich Town’s Mark Venus, who is Tony Mowbray’s assistant at Parkhead.
