Marcello Wainwright’s Toronto Arrows teammates rebounding from two early losses to recorded their first win of the Major League Rugby season, defeating Old Glory DC 40 - 19.
It was the Arrows' first victory since March 1st, 2020 when they beat Rugby ATL 28-18. Toronto was 4-1-0 when the season was canceled last year due to the pandemic.
Tyler Rowland, Manuel Diana, Ben LeSage, Gaston Mieres, and Jason Higgins scored Tries for Toronto, who led 18-7 at the half. Tayler Adams kicked three Conversions, a Penalty, and a Drop Goal, and Will Kelly added a Penalty.
Thretton Palamo, Jamason Fa’anana-Schultz, and James King scored Tries for Old Glory. Danny Tusitala booted two Conversions.
