The Bermuda Rugby Football Union’s (BRFU) 2019/20 Season’s first tournament came to an end at the National Sports Center with the Renegades crowned the Men’s 10’s Tournament concluding after a two day event.
BRFU President Sean Field-Lament said, “Congratulations to Renegades on their success in the 3rd Annual BRFU Men’s 10’s Tournament.
They played consistently well over the last two weeks.
We see it as a stepping stone for local development, the BRFU is extremely keen to expand on this shorten version of Rugby and next year will be looking to bring in overseas teams in to add flavor and depth to the tournament.
Ten’s is an attractive format which encourages a broader participation base then Seven’s. Attracting incoming teams is easier as it is less cost prohibitive.”
