Bermuda National Rugby team were defeated 20 – 19 by Cayman Islands at the Truman Bodden National Stadium in Grand Cayman.
The game was a one-game playoff as Trinidad and Tobago pulled out of the tournament leaving just Bermuda and Cayman Islands as the only two Caribbean teams in the Division.
USA South the other team in the Division are ineligible to advance due to it’s developmental status for it’s National Men’s team.
The match was Cayman Island’s opening game of the qualifying stage. Bermuda was defeated heavily by USA South in their opener and then they went down to Trinidad & Tobago, before they pulled out.
