Warwick Academy swept all three divisions at the Bermuda School Sports Federation Primary School Rugby Tournament held at the National Sports Center.
Warwick Academy defeated Mount Saint Agnes Academy 9-6 in the Boys A Division Final. Warwick Academy were led by Nayan Grant who scored six times, Vincent Boisvert added two and Ditrich Simmons one, while Daylen Scott and Ethan Thompson scored two Try’s each for Mount Saint Agnes Academy, with Marcus Rodrigues and Ishe Hunidzarira added single Try’s each.
Warwick Academy defeated Saltus Grammar School 6-5 in their Semi-Final with Grant scoring four Try’s, Simmons and Boisvert scored as well for Warwick Academy.
Mount Saint Agnes outlasted Victor Scott 6-3 in the other Semi-Final. Hunidzarira scored three Try’s while Rodriques, Thompson and Scott added one each. Zee-Dann Grant, Zaie Castle and J'naz Richardson scored for Victor Scott.
Warwick Academy defeated East End Primary 5-1 in the Boys B Division Final. Luke Horan led the way for Warwick Academy with Three Try’s, while Dante Noel Simmons and Ralph Scott added one each. East End Primary got their lone score from Zaki Gibbons.
Warwick Academy blanked Mount Saint Agnes 6-0 in their Semi-Final. Sanjai Eve scored twice for Warwick Academy, while Horan, Scott, Roger Williams and Ranmaru Enokitohge scored one each.
East End Primary squeezed by Saltus Grammar School 4-3 in the other Semi-Final. The East Enders got single scores from Gibbons, Keori Binns Leverock, Jazajiah Smith Robinson and Az’Yah Pitcher. The Saltus scorers were Leo Sangster, Tyler Coleman and Ethan Ross Arria.
Warwick completed the Primary School sweep with a 5-3 win over Saltus Grammar School in the Girls Final. Bella Charleson led all scorers with three Try’s, with Izzy Simmons and Esi Naylor adding a Try each. Saltus Grammar School got two Try’s from Allana Braxton and one from Giana Cedenio.
Warwick Academy defeated Harrington Sound Primary 6-2 in their Semi-Final, with Charleson again scored three times, while Simmons, Naylor and Ayshalay Simons all adding a try each. Briana Madeiros and Kalila Dailey scored for Harrington Sound.
Saltus Grammar School needed overtime to defeat Mount Saint Agnes 7-5 in the other Semi-Final. Braxton scored four times, while Avani Patton scored twice and Elana Newton once. Taya Rodrigues and Mila Calko scored twice for Mount Saint Agnes along with Khylie Smith.
