 Bernard Wade III IslandStats.com Bermudian Archers continued to showcase their skills on day two of the 2025 Lancaster Archery Classic, one of the largest indoor archery tournaments on the East Coast.
Bernard Wade III and Jamie Fraser joined the fray in the highly competitive Olympic Recurve Division. Wade III delivered a solid performance, finishing 48th with a score of 535. Fraser, competing in his first Lancaster Classic, secured 78th place with a score of 470.
This follows strong showings from fellow Bermudians Camerin Pickering and Jaydon Roberts on Day One.
Once the dust settled from the Qualification Rounds, Pickering finished 25th with Roberts close behind in 32nd in the 101-strong Olympic Recurve Men's Division. Both Archers have qualified for the elimination rounds, which begin on Saturday at 8 am.
In the Women's Olympic Recurve Division, Elektra Smith, competing in her first international event, finished a respectable 57th out of 62 archers.
Elsewhere, William Pickering represented Bermuda in the Masters Compound Division, finishing 67th out of 150 archers. Young Robin Selley secured a strong 23rd place finish in the Youth Female Recurve Division.
With Pickering and Roberts set to battle it out in the elimination rounds, Bermuda will be hoping for further success at this prestigious tournament.
