 The 39th Denton Hurdle Memorial Awards took place tonight at Warwick Academy, honouring 57 outstanding student-athletes for their dedication and achievements across various sports.
In the primary school categories, Keirra Broadley-Samuels from St. George's Preparatory was crowned the girls' winner, with honourable mentions going to Zaya Cann-Berkley of West End Primary and Aalirah Daniels from Harrington Sound Primary. For the primary school boys, Owen Fosker from Warwick Academy took the top honour, with Khaleef Daley from Francis Patton Primary and Kimmij Simmons from Northlands Primary receiving honourable mentions.
Moving to the middle school division, Avery Taylor from Bermuda High School was named the girls' winner, while Riley Khan from Warwick Academy and Riana Robinson from The Whitney Institute received honourable mentions. In the boys' section, Chaz Edmead of Saltus Grammar School claimed the award, with Timothy Pearman from The Whitney Institute and De'Ari Trott from Warwick Academy earning honourable mentions.
Finally, in the senior categories, Carina Bortoli from Somersfield Academy was the senior girls' winner, with Isabella Sousa receiving an honourable mention. The senior boys' award went to Khari Sharrieff from The Berkeley Institute, and Alexander Rymon-Lipinski from MSA was given an honorable mention.
