NAHKI WELLS

Nahki Wells and his Bristol City teammates were unable to take their opportunities in an attacking, open game at Ashton Gate, where Teemu Pukki’s double helped Norwich City in their 3-1 win.

Two through balls proved a treat for the Finland striker in this Halloween showdown, who powered the ball past Dan Bentley as Norwich raced in a 2-0 lead inside 14 minutes.

City responded immediately and would pull a goal back through Jack Hunt’s close-range finish, only for Emiliano Buendia to strike the Canaries’ third of the day on the stroke of half-time.

Wells would have the chance to score from the penalty spot, but the striker scooped the ball over the crossbar.

JUSTIN DONAWA

Justin Donawa started on the bench for Solihull Moors FC in their Vanarama National League game against Maidenhead United.

Donawa would come on, but Maidenhead came away with a 3 – 1 win. Stephen Gleeson scored from the spot for Solihull, but Sam Barratt scored a hat-trick for Maidenhead.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD

Milan Butterfield and his Chesterfield teammates took to the field in their Vanarama National League match against Yeovil Town, and they would come away with a 1 – 0 win.

Matthew Dudley headed Bamber Bridge into the lead in the 17th minute. In the 43rd minute, the score was level as Jean Louis Akpa-Akpro fired into the roof of the net from close range.

Rowan Roache poked Bamber back ahead in the 48th minute, but Hall and his teammates could not find the equalizer.

KNORY SCOTT

Knory Scott was named as a substitute as his Hastings United teammates took on Ashford Town in the FA Trophy.

In the 43rd minute the ball fells Ryan Worrall on the edge of the box, but despite the goalkeeper's best effort he could not save the powerful shot from going in.

In the 63rd minute the score was level as a whipped corner was headed in at the back post by Matt Bunyan, Scott made an appearance in the 88th minute making his return from injury.

The match would have to be decided by Kicks from the Penalty Mark, which saw Hastings come away with a 4-2 win.

J’NAI BUTTERFIELD STEEDE

J'Nai Butterfield-Steede and his Kendal Town Football Club teammates welcomed Tadcaster Albion in their Northern Premier League match-up, and they would go down 3 - 0.

Ify Ofoegbu, Bailey Thompson, and Simon Russell all found the back of the net for Tadcaster Albion.

AYLEAL DILL

Ayleal Dill and his Ilkeston town teammates did not play as the club issued a statement, “We can confirm that due to our unwillingness to participate in their FA Trophy tie on health and safety grounds, AFC Rushden & Diamonds have been given a walkover.
