The Bermuda Football Association announced that Dante Leverock was presented with a Special Scholarship for one year from the BFA’s Legends Scholarship Selection Committee in the amount of $5,000.00.
Leverock was presented with the scholarship by Bermuda Football Association President Mark Wade and Chair of the Legends Scholarship Selection Committee Robert Horton.
The Bermuda National Team Captain is being recognized for his leadership on and off the pitch.
Leverock said he is grateful for receiving the Special Scholarship.
Leverock will be completing a master’s degree in Education, specializing in Leadership and Development. Leverock said, “I have a passion for education and helping young people reach their goals. Combining education with professional sports has helped me gain a unique insight that I hope to pass on to the next generation.”
The National Team defender recently ended is time at Polish club Radomiak Radom after joining in February and is currently awaiting his international transfer which will enable him to join his former local club, Robin Hood while furthering his education.
