It was last year that www.islandstats.com reported the Stadium Cottage at the Main Gate of the National Sports Center, was on the list of buildings to be demolished.
Today that became a reality, when workers from Island Construction demolished the building that had become a dangerous hazard.
National Sports Center Operation Manager Craig Tyrell said, “It is a good day, now that the Cottage had been removed, I am not sure what if anything will replace it, but I will leave that up to the Trustees to decide.”
