Amali Smith and her Wilberforce University Women’s Basketball teammates moved to 1 & 1 on the season following their 73 - 57 win against UC Clermont.
Wilberforce held a 14 point lead at the end of the first quarter with a score of 18 - 4, in the second quarter Wilberforce score 22 points and held UC Clermont to 11 points to take a 40 - 15 lead into the break.
Wilberforce were outscored 42 - 33 by UT Clermont in the second half but still came out on top.
