In a game that featured 14 lead changes, 11 ties, and neither team leading by more than six points, it was David Patrick’s Sacramento State that outlasted Idaho, 85 - 83, in overtime at ICCU Arena.
Sacramento State used a 10-0 run in the second half to claim a 63-58 lead with 6:39 left. Sacramento State held onto that lead until the closing seconds when Idaho's Dominique Ford forced overtime with a 10-footer at the buzzer that bounced on the rim twice before falling. That erased what had been a four-point Sacramento State lead with 10 seconds left.
Both teams went back and forth in the overtime session as neither team led by more than two points.
