Trailing, 13-9, Northern Colorado went on a 12-0 run and never looked back. Northern Colorado led by double figures the final 18:38 of the contest and finished the game 45% (27-60) from the field and 44% (11-25) from the 3-point line. Conversely, Sacramento State shot 30% (20-67) from the floor and 28% (5-18) from deep. The two teams combined for just 22 fouls and 14 turnovers.
