Bermudian equestrian Kiwon Waldron enjoyed a busy and competitive evening in the sulky at Harrah's Hoosier Park, securing three solid top-five finishes in Indiana.
Waldron took the lines across a competitive 14-race card under the lights, competing in both pace and trot divisions against seasoned North American company.
In his opening assignment of the night, Race 2 over the pace, Waldron steered Eagle Crest Queen into fourth place. Working from off the pace, the duo crossed the wire in a brisk 1:56.1, narrowly missing out on a podium finish.
Waldron returned to the track for Race 7 behind Er Checkers in another fast-paced encounter. In a tightly contested field, he guided the pacer to a fifth-place finish, clocking a sharp 1:54.1 in an aggressive mile.
He wrapped up his evening in Race 10, switching gait to the trot with Bluebird Yoshi. Overcoming a testing trip, Waldron held off late challengers down the home stretch to claim fourth position in 1:57.2.
The consistent performances add to another valuable campaign in the United States for the Bermudian driver, who continues to gain vital overseas experience against top-tier harness racing competition.
