Fifteen Bermuda Footballers in Action in the UK

IslandStats.com
Bermudian goalkeeper Nathan Trott reached a major milestone this afternoon as Cardiff City continued their relentless pursuit of promotion with a commanding 4–0 victory over Exeter City.

Trott was in exceptional form at St James Park, securing his 13th clean sheet in 34 appearances this season. The Bluebirds dominated from the outset, with goals from Alex Robertson, Callum Robinson, and a Rubin Colwill brace ensuring Trott had a relatively comfortable afternoon between the posts. The result keeps Cardiff firmly in the hunt at the top of the table, while Exeter’s winless run stretches to eleven matches.

Further up the pyramid, Nahki Wells and his Luton Town teammates secured a vital three points on the road at Adams Park. In a tightly contested affair against Wycombe Wanderers, the Hatters showed their clinical edge to secure a 2–1 victory. Wells was central to Luton’s offensive pressure throughout, helping his side maintain their momentum as they look to solidify their standing in the league.

In National League North action, Justin Donawa and Keziah Martin enjoyed a successful afternoon at the MandM Edgar Street Stadium. Hereford FC played host to South Shields in a high-stakes encounter, with the Bulls eventually holding on to a gritty 2–1 victory. Both Bermudians played key roles in a defensive effort that successfully blunted a late South Shields surge.

It was a more difficult afternoon for Willie Clemons and Leiston FC. Traveling to the Zeeco Stadium to face Stamford AFC 1896, Clemons and his teammates were unable to find a breakthrough, eventually falling to a 2–0 defeat in their Southern League Premier Division Central clash.

However, there was joy for Reggie Lambe at Bloomfields. Lambe and his Needham Market teammates produced a dominant second-half display to claim a 3–1 victory over St Ives Town, continuing their impressive recent form.

Kane Crichlow: Chelmsford City suffered a setback on the road, falling 2–0 to Worthing FC at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium.

Milan Butterfield: In a heartbreaking result at the Sir Halley Stewart Field, Halesowen Town threw away a 2–0 halftime lead to lose 3–2 against second-placed Spalding United.

Harry Twite: The defender enjoyed a dream home debut for Basford United, helping his side to a 2–1 win over Coventry Sphinx at Greenwich Avenue.

In the Southern Premier Division South, Ajani Burchall and Wimborne Town played out a tense goalless draw away at Tiverton Town. Elsewhere, Aunde Todd and Brighton Morrison were on the wrong side of a five-goal thriller, as Badshot Lea fell 3–2 to Sheerwater FC.

In the Isthmian League, Coolridge Fubler helped Binfield FC secure a hard-fought point. After both sides traded goals in the first half at the OnSite Group Stadium, Binfield held firm to finish level at 1–1 against AFC Portchester.

Finally, while Ayleal Dill and Southwell City suffered a 2–0 home defeat against Retford FC, there was victory for Zhani Burgess. His Quorn FC side produced a professional away performance to defeat Banbury United 2–0 at Farley Way, capping off a massive weekend for Bermudian talent across the UK.
