Bermuda Male Athletes Ranked in NACAC Outdoor Rankings

IslandStats.com
As the curtain falls on a spectacular 2025 athletics season, the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) has released its final outdoor regional rankings, with several Bermudian athletes securing prestigious spots among the elite.

Leading the charge is Olympian Jah-Nhai Perinchief, who ends the year as the eighth-ranked triple jumper in the region. Perinchief’s standout leap of 16.95 metres, achieved in Memphis this past July, solidified his status as one of the Caribbean’s most formidable field athletes and provided a fitting exclamation point to his international campaign.

On the track, Bermuda’s middle-distance contingent showcased remarkable consistency across the British and American circuits. Nairobi Smith-Mills surged to 19th in the 800m rankings following a blistering personal best of 1:47.67 in Stretford, a performance that highlighted his rapid development on the world stage. He is joined in the top echelon by Dage Minors, who claimed the 17th spot in the 1500m with a sharp 3:47.35.

Meanwhile, Ryan Outerbridge proved his versatility by cracking the top 30 in two separate disciplines, ranking 19th in the 3000m steeplechase and 28th in the 5000m after a successful season at Franklin Pierce University.

The island’s long-distance and relay programmes also earned their place in the year-end honours.

Veteran runner Lamont Marshall showcased his enduring class by ranking 25th in the 10,000m, clocking 31:14.83 during a high-stakes meet in New Jersey.

In the sprint events, the Men’s 4x100m Relay squad—composed of Denver Tucker, Norre Robinson, Miles Outerbridge, and Suresh Black—finished the year ranked 22nd in the region after their 40.41-second clocking in Barbados.

This collective success across sprints, distance, and field events underscores a golden era for Bermudian athletics as the focus now shifts toward the 2026 international calendar.
